Starting next month, Air France and Delta Air Lines are partnering to offer hourly flights daily departing from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Paris’ international airports: Paris – Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Paris – Orly Airport (ORY).
This transatlantic “shuttle” service will make travel between the two cities easier and more convenient with nine daily flights operated between Air France and Delta. Together, the airlines will offer hourly departures from JFK starting in the late afternoon and departures from CDG and ORY every one to two hours during the day.
Air France will operate six daily flights New York-JFK to Paris-CDG and one daily flight New York-JFK to Paris-ORY. Air France will operate flights with Boeing 777-300s and Airbus A350s.Delta will operate two daily flights New York-JFK to Paris-CDG with Airbus A330s.
All nine flights offer at least three classes of service:
Business equipped with lie-flat beds
Air France Premium Economy / Delta Premium Select
Economy / Main Cabin
Three daily Air France flights will also offer La Premiere, the airline’s award-winning first class that provides an unrivalled experience of privacy, comfort, and sophistication. Each La Première suite has a wide seat that transforms into a lie-flat bed more than 6.5 feet long. With Michelin-starred menus signed by Anne-Sophie Pic, a carefully curated wine and champagne list, a wide choice of entertainment on high-definition screens and attentive service, all guests travel in optimal comfort and style.
The Delta flights will offer Delta One, the airline’s premium cabin experience featuring lie-flat beds, artisan made amenity kits from Someone Somewhere and include sustainable products from Grown Alchemist, eco-conscious bedding and more. Delta Premium Select, the airline’s premium economy cabin, includes more space to relax and stretch out with a wider seat, deeper recline and an adjustable footrest and leg rest plus an upgraded amenity kit and noise-canceling headsets. Both cabin experiences will help customers arrive rested and refreshed.
Summer Travel
This summer, Air France will offer an even greater capacity of transatlantic flights than before the pandemic.
Air France will operate close to 200 weekly flights from 14 U.S gateways, 20% higher than what Air France operated in summer 2019. This includes the recent resumption of the Dallas Fort Worth and Denver routes, and the daily New York-JFK to Paris-ORY flight. Paris-Orly Airport offers travelers easy access to Paris and convenient connections to destinations in the south of France and beyond.
Delta is the largest trans-Atlantic carrier from New York-JFK and Boston, operating up to 27 daily flights to 20 European destinations from JFK this summer, including restarting pre-COVID service to Zurich, Brussels, Edinburgh, Copenhagen and Prague. In Boston, Delta will operate up to nine daily flights to nine trans-Atlantic destinations, offering nearly 5,000 more seats each week compared with summer 2019.
