In 2023, Turkish Airlines announced a significant 16.1% increase in passenger numbers, reaching a milestone of 83.4 million travelers. The airline saw a 19.1% increase in domestic flights and a 14.4% rise in international flights.
Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, said that the company’s ongoing commitment to both domestic and international investments under their ‘2033 Boutique to Summit’ mission.
Prof. Dr. Bolat stated, “We have reached an all-time high in passenger numbers, which reassures us that we are steadily approaching our goals.”
Despite a decline in global international traffic, Turkish Airlines, which flies to more countries than any other airline, recorded a substantial increase in passengers. Prof. Dr. Bolat credited this achievement to the dedication of all team members and the Turkish Airlines family.
He further expressed gratitude to his colleagues and reaffirmed their collective commitment to making their country proud on a global stage. “Together, we will continue to proudly represent our country around the world,” he declared.
