Uzbekistan Airways to receive another Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

The NAC “Uzbekistan Airways” and the Boeing Company signed an agreement on the delivery of another “Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner”. Taking into account this additional aircraft, the national air carrier of Uzbekistan will have six airliners of this type in its fleet until 2020.

The third Dreamliner, expected to be delivered in the middle of May, 2018. It differs from the previous two “Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner” which is operated by the NAC. The number of seats for passengers is increased – the total number of seats is 270 (business class 24, economy class 246 ), and performed a special compartment for the rest of the crew.

This liner, as well as the other “Boeing 787 Dreamliner” aircraft, is equipped with GEnx-1B engines of the GE Aviation company, which offers up better fuel efficiency, low level of noise and minimum level of CO2 emission into the atmosphere.

With the arrival of the “Dreamliner” aircraft, the fleet of the NAC has become unique. Uzbekistan Airways flexibly uses its fleet depending on the demand and the situation on the air transportation market and works effectively both in the near and the farthest directions, profitably opens up new directions and transports passengers with high comfort for long distances.

During short period specialists of the NAC successfully mastered this fundamentally new type of aircraft with the most modern technical and technological equipment. Due to their high level, 100% reliability of “Boeing 787 Dreamliner” aircraft is provided for the period of their exploitation.

The Boeing Company marked the NAC “Uzbekistan Airways” with a special sign in 2017. The reason for this was the absence in the airline’s activities of cancellations or delays due to a failure in the exploitation of the “Boeing 787 Dreamliner”.
