V Air will launch its Taipei-Busan route on August 24th as the carrier has just received the International Air Transport Business License (IATBL) from South Korea. Busan is V Air’s first destination in North East Asia. The new service launch remarks V Air becoming the first Taiwan low-cost carrier stepping into South Korean market.
Normal fare tickets will be available from 10 a.m. tomorrow (Taipei Time, GMT+8).
The normal fare starts from KRW71,400/TWD 2,100. To celebrate the new service, V Air will launch a promotion sale offering an introductory fare starts from KRW 6,800 (one way, airport tax excluded). The sale is available from 10:00 a.m. on August 10th to 11:59 p.m. on August 16th. The sale is valid for departures from V Air’s inaugural launch date of August 24th , until December 31st ,2015.
V Air Busan-Taipei service targets to offer 3 round-trip flights per week. At the initial operation stage, the carrier has confirmed the schedule for Monday and Friday, hoping to reach the targeted flight frequency by the end of this year. The service will be operated by an Airbus A321 aircraft with 194 seats in an all economy configuration. Below are details for V Air’s flight schedule:
