What’s Inside Star Alliance’s First Asia Lounge?

Star Alliance has inaugurated its first Asian lounge at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) in China, enhancing the travel experience for its premium passengers.

Located in Terminal 1’s international area, this 750-square-meter lounge accommodates up to 100 guests and operates 24/7 to cater to diverse flight schedules.

The lounge offers a range of amenities designed for both relaxation and productivity. Travelers can utilize workstations, comfortable seating areas, and state-of-the-art shower suites.

A 100-square-meter VIP room is available upon request for private meetings or group gatherings. The lounge’s glass façade provides natural light and tarmac views, creating an inviting atmosphere.

Reflecting the local culture, the lounge features artwork by regional artists and a Tea Appreciation Corner, allowing guests to experience Guangzhou’s renowned tea traditions. Culinary offerings include light bites and regional dishes, complemented by a dedicated bar serving specially curated beverages.

This lounge is accessible to First and Business Class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold status customers on member airline flights departing from Terminal 1.

Currently, ten Star Alliance member airlines operate from Guangzhou, including Air China, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Egyptair, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, and Turkish Airlines, offering 774 weekly departures to 50 destinations across ten countries.
