SARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B Antigen Combo Test

Aussies Can Buy New Rapid Antigen Test for Flu A/B and COVID-19

Sydney-based Touch Biotechnology launched its new Combo Rapid Antigen test for COVID-19 and Influenza A and B. The test is available in pharmacies nationally.

Touch Biotechnology’s new SARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B Antigen Combo Test (Self-Testing) Kit has a sensitivity of more than 98% (very high sensitivity). It was one of the first Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved multi-virus rapid antigen tests in the Australian market, with approval obtained in September 2022.

General Manager of Sydney-based Touch Biotechnology (TouchBio), Mazz Gencer, said: “Australians want to enjoy their freedoms over the summer months and spend long overdue time with friends and family.

“It is timely with increased COVID cases across Australia[1] and off the back of the worst flu season in five years[2] that people can now purchase the new Combo Test (Self-Testing) Kit from selected pharmacies,” Mr. Gencer said.

The symptoms of COVID and Flu A/B are very similar; the TouchBio combined Rapid Antigen self-test kit enables people to test for all three at the same time with a very high level of accuracy. This helps them to identify their symptoms within 15 minutes, get a consultation from a health professional for the right treatment, and make timely decisions about their interactions in the community from the comfort of their own homes.

People are recommended to take a TouchBio SARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B Antigen Combo Test (Self-Testing) Kit when they feel unwell, have any symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, or Influenza A or B viruses.

In collaboration with national wholesalers and distributors such as Symbion, TouchBio Combo Kits can now be purchased from selected stores of Terry White Chemmart, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse, and more.

The TouchBio SARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B Antigen Combo Test (Self-Testing) Kit carries the unique official TGA number of ARTG 395591, and has Very High Sensitivity for the Flu & Covid.
