Korea aims to boost its medical tourism by opening Medical Tourism Support Center at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1.
Opened on December 18, 2018, the center provides visitors a first step to medical tourism in Korea as they arrive at Incheon International Airport. The center offers specialized medical services as well as information on medical tourism.
The center has nurses and consultants that can speak various languages such as English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian and more for specialized medical consulting service. The center also offers information on transportation to medical institutions, treatment reservations, as well as nearby restaurants and accommodation.
Various experience programs such as medicinal herbal tea experience and cultural experiences are also provided at the center. The center also plans to provide service where patients can meet with medical institute managers.
