Luxury Boutiques Debut on AROYA, Saudi Arabia’s First Cruise Ship

The launch of AROYA, Saudi Arabia’s first cruise ship, is redefining luxury travel with an exceptional retail experience by Gebr. Heinemann.

With eight exclusive boutiques spread across three decks, AROYA introduces a new benchmark in onboard shopping, featuring over 1,603 square meters of retail space—a record for a cruise ship.

Passengers will explore a curated collection of more than 250 international and Arabian brands, ensuring a shopping experience tailored to their tastes. From regional gifts and high-end fashion to toys and luxury goods, AROYA offers something for everyone.

Unparalleled Onboard Shopping

On Deck 6, passengers can visit Aroya Souk, a destination for traditional Arabian gifts, dates, and sweets from renowned brands like Nua and Bateel. The boutique also offers AROYA-branded merchandise and interactive digital elements, including motion games and activities for children. Nearby, the Aroya Dukkan convenience store provides a wide selection of everyday essentials.

Deck 7 features a range of boutiques catering to varied interests. The Fragrances & Cosmetics Boutique highlights Arabian culture with dune-inspired designs and offers a selection of perfumes, Bakhoor incense sticks, and premium cosmetics. For families, the Kids Boutique delights young passengers with toys, branded clothing, and interactive fish animations.

Other highlights include the Sunglasses & Leather Boutique, featuring high-quality accessories, and the Watches & Jewelry Boutique, showcasing premium timepieces and jewelry. The Fashion & Accessories Boutique ensures passengers can shop the latest styles while sailing the Red Sea.

For those seeking exclusivity, Deck 16 houses the Khuzama Boutique, a VIP shopping destination offering luxury products. Guests can book private appointments via the concierge for an elevated retail experience.

Arabian-Inspired Design and Innovation

The boutique designs reflect Saudi Arabian culture and landscapes, incorporating elements like dunes, sand motifs, palm trees, and arches. The Kids Boutique mirrors the Red Sea’s marine life, with fish installations and jellyfish-inspired décor. Meanwhile, the jewelry boutique offers private spaces for women, ensuring a comfortable and personalized shopping experience.

Innovation extends to the ship’s retail features with the introduction of the first web store on a cruise ship. Accessible through the AROYA app, the store allows passengers to browse and pre-order items outside regular opening hours, blending convenience with luxury.

A Floating Arabian Resort

Beyond shopping, AROYA offers a world-class cruising experience. The 335-meter-long ship boasts 1,678 cabins, accommodating up to 3,362 passengers. Guests can enjoy 15 diverse restaurants, 20 entertainment venues, a grand theatre, a swimming pool with a children’s water park, and a spa.

The ship’s maiden voyages will explore the enchanting Red Sea, stopping at iconic destinations such as a private Saudi island, Aqaba in Jordan, and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. These journeys promise an unforgettable blend of Arabian elegance and adventure.
