Farnborough International Airshow has announced the first aircraft and teams taking part in its 2026 flying display, promising what organisers describe as the event’s largest and most diverse programme in decades.
The airshow, taking place from 20 to 24 July 2026 in Hampshire, United Kingdom, will feature military aircraft, commercial jets, heritage aviation and advanced air mobility platforms from manufacturers and operators across the United States, Europe and Latin America.
Headlining the flying display will be the U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, which will perform its only public display in Europe in 2026.
The team will showcase the fifth-generation fighter aircraft’s agility, stealth and combat capabilities during daily aerial demonstrations throughout the five-day event.
The first wave of announced aircraft and teams includes:

- Vertical Aerospace VA-1X
- Ultimate WarBird Flights P-51D Mustang
- The Starlings Aerobatic Team
- The Falcons RAF Parachute Display Team
Organisers also confirmed a range of static aircraft displays, including:

Farnborough International Airshow said the event would continue to focus on innovation, aerospace technology and sustainability, while bringing together manufacturers, airlines, defence companies and aviation professionals from around the world.
The 2026 edition will also include the return of “Pioneers of Tomorrow” on Friday 24 July, a dedicated STEM and careers day aimed at encouraging young people to explore opportunities in aviation and aerospace.

- A careers fair and digital job board
- Competitions and interactive experiences
Organisers said under-21s, full-time students and apprentices would receive free entry on 24 July. Families and youth groups are also being encouraged to attend the event.
