International Hospitality Conference 2020 Held in Kyiv

The International Hospitality Conference 2020, an educational business-conference for hospitality business professionals from all around the world, took place on February 29, 2020, at InterContinental Kyiv in Ukraine.

ftnnews.com, one of the media partners of the conference, followed the event with some 350 owners and hotel top-managers.

The conference started with ‘Performance Trends in Ukraine and Neighbourhood Markets‘ presented by STR’s Alexandra White.

Heleri Rande and James Hacon from Think Hospitality – UK presented ‘Bedrooms are Boring – What can F&B do for your asset?’. The duo shared how hoteliers should use hotels’ restaurants and asked them to take professional help if needed.

The conference continued with a panel discussion on ‘Global Changes and Trends in Hospitality’. Alexis Feuillat from IHG, Magdalena Sekutowska from Hilton Worldwide, Brigita Aleksandraviciute from Apex Alliance Hotel Management, and Adam Konieczny from Louvre Hotels Group were the panelists.

Later in the afternoon, Thomas Landen from Revinate shared thoughts about ‘Guest Data: The New Oil? How to use guest data in your hotel to drive revenue’.

Amy Clarke from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts presented the ‘New Generation of Tourists – Modern Guests and What they want‘.

The last speaker of the conference was Olaf Slater from Sabre Hospitality. He talked about: Evolution In The Travel Space – Exploring How Consumer Behaviour Has Been Transformed Through Technology And How Hoteliers Can Keep Pace With Technology Innovation From An Operational, Content And Distribution Perspective

All speakers of the conference shared their priceless experience in hotel management, raising revenue and making more profit from hotel operations. In their presentations, they elaborated on the topic of the 2020 conference – “Evolution”. It involved changes, the evolution in the hospitality sphere encouraging hotels to keep learning, implementing changes in order to better meet the increasing demand of a modern traveler.
