LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Tour 2024: Discovering Future Talents in France and Italy

LVMH Métiers d’Excellence is hitting the road again, embarking on its ambitious “You and ME” tour to discover future talents.

Scheduled to visit five French cities from January 31 to March 27, and later expanding to three Italian cities, the tour represents LVMH’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals in creative, craft, and client experience sectors.

This initiative, launched in 2022, is part of LVMH Group’s dedication to inclusion and developing employability among young people and those seeking reskilling opportunities. The traveling vocational and recruiting fair offers attendees the chance to explore over 280 skilled professions and apply for more than 3,500 job opportunities (including work/study programs, internships, and permanent contracts) offered by LVMH Maisons in France for 2024.

The 2023 edition of this tour was a remarkable success, attracting over 6,000 visitors and filling over 3,500 positions at LVMH Maisons in France. Moreover, the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Institute celebrated a record year, welcoming 250 apprentices for the 2023–2024 school year, with a 98% degree award rate and an impressive 78% job placement rate for graduates.

The 2024 tour begins on January 31 in Paris at the Carreau du Temple, with the presence of program ambassador Tony Parker and Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies. Following Paris, the tour will proceed to Orléans, Clichy-sous-Bois, Reims, and Lyon—cities strategically selected near key LVMH employment areas.

Chantal Gaemperle expressed excitement about the new tour, emphasizing the opportunity it presents for potential employees to explore a wide array of skilled métiers and engage with talents from LVMH Maisons. The event, supported by Tony Parker, will offer coaching from HR teams and direct job applications for over 3,500 positions.

The fair, open to school groups in the mornings and to the public from 11 am, provides insights into LVMH’s Métiers d’Excellence and training opportunities at the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Institute and its partner schools. Visitors can interact with apprentices and their tutors, witness skill demonstrations, and receive personalized support in coaching workshops, covering resume writing, application letters, and job interview preparation.

In the Perspectives area, candidates can find job offers aligned with their career goals and apply directly, facilitated by a new application that digitizes resumes for LVMH Maisons’ HR teams.

Post-event support includes the “You & ME La Prépa” app, offering vocational orientation to help candidates prepare job applications effectively. Additionally, personalized coaching from non-profit Le Refuge, led by Ouissem Belgacem and the Métiers d’Excellence team, is available.

Registration for one of the five 2024 You & ME tour sessions is now open at https://youandme.lvmh.com/registration/register. The site also provides detailed information on the 3,500 job offers and various LVMH Métiers d’Excellence skillsets.
