m&i is set to redefine the MICE trade show landscape with the launch of m&i Fest, scheduled from 17-21 March 2024 in Marrakesh.
This innovative event promises a blend of large trade show elements with the intimacy and value of m&i’s renowned Forums. With dedicated exhibitor spaces, brands can effectively share their narratives, ensuring a holistic experience for both buyers and suppliers.
The event, which anticipates around 240 buyers and 230 suppliers, is pegged to be 2024’s premier MICE industry gathering.
Richard Barnes, CEO of Worldwide Events, the organization behind m&i Fest, expressed his support for Morocco, especially after the recent earthquake. He emphasized the importance of promoting tourism and MICE business to aid the nation’s recovery. Barnes stated, “m&i Fest is designed to cater to both buyers and suppliers, offering a platform for brands to gain visibility and narrate their story.”
The event’s structure revolves around three core principles: Develop, Discover, and Celebrate. Mornings are reserved for 1-2-1 meetings, fostering relationship-building between buyers and suppliers. Afternoons offer attendees the freedom to explore Marrakesh and its exclusive venues. Evenings focus on networking, with local culinary delights and vibrant events, promoting genuine connections in a relaxed ambiance.
Barnes further added, “We aim to break the monotonous trade show format. m&i Fest will combine business-focused sessions with engaging content, emphasizing the importance of networking.”
Arjen Van der Linden from Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 praised the event, saying, “m&i Fest merges the benefits of a large exhibition with quality 1-2-1 meetings.” Johannes Aign from Hilton Munich Airport also expressed optimism, noting the event’s potential to attract top buyers.
Marrakesh, a renowned global MICE destination, will offer attendees a chance to explore its mesmerizing venues over four days. The event will be hosted at Palais des Congrès Marrakech, with attendees accommodated at the luxurious Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech.
