Campfire events are limited to a small group of attendees, and take place at other well-known industry events. They usually last for 30 minutes and focus on one area of interest to those attending the industry event. This makes great use of people’s time, as they can gain an extra insight at an event they had already committed to attending.
Insights events are larger meetings for up to 100 attendees, have a packed half-day agenda aimed at informing, educating and debating about current issues and hot topics. These events have an element of networking and participation. Insights events are scheduled to take place in October, January and June, focusing the global meetings industry, economic trends, and changes in event processes and practices.
Talktable events are focused discussions that take place over dinner. Forthcoming Tabletalks will focus on creativity, talent, design and competitiveness in our industry.
CMP Bootcamp events are two-day intensive training courses that cover ten knowledge domains recognised as critical for successful meetings management by the Convention Industry Council (CIC), and are areas to master in order to become a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). These events offer invaluable training and are excellent as preparation for the CMP exam.
The next Insights Event will take place at the Emirates Stadium on October29th and focuses on international business for corporates and agencies seeking to expand into new markets, or organizing events overseas.
