The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) and the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) have unveiled a new collaborative partnership, leveraging their mutual alignment within the business events industry.
SITE stands as the sole global association exclusively catering to the incentive travel industry. On the other hand, ADMEI is recognized as the leading global organization for Destination Management Companies (DMCs), entities that play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional incentive travel experiences.
Annette Gregg, CEO of SITE, elaborated on the association’s mission, emphasizing its dedication to promoting the business case for incentive travel and motivational experiences. She highlighted the importance of DMCs, stating, “The global DMC sector embodies local knowledge, expertise, and connections. By partnering with a local DMC, corporate and agency buyers can ensure smooth logistics, access unparalleled local experiences, and collaborate with professionals who meet corporate and program objectives in their destination.”
The collaboration between ADMEI and SITE aims to uplift the professionalism and reputation of the DMC sector. This will be achieved by exchanging best practices, educational resources, and research.
Lonise Carey, ADMEI’s President, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership. “ADMEI’s unwavering commitment to the growth of the Destination Management Industry aligns perfectly with SITE’s mission to bolster the business case for incentive travel. As two stalwarts representing global standards of excellence, our collaboration will pave innovative avenues to enhance education and shed light on pressing industry issues for our esteemed members.”
Both leaders believe that this partnership will be a powerhouse of knowledge exchange and expertise cultivation, promising a plethora of benefits for members from both organizations. The collaboration will offer reciprocal opportunities, including events, education, and the sharing of digital assets.
