World Youth Student and Educational selects 2016 host city

The World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation has announced the host city for its 2016 World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC). The annual gathering of the youth, student and educational travel industry is expected to attract over 600 delegates representing over 450 organisations from 120 countries across the globe.

World Youth and Student Travel Conference in 2016 (WYSTC) will be held in Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, in September. With a population of 1.23 million – and over 1.65 million people living in its metropolitan area – Belgrade is the largest city in Serbia and one of the largest cities in Southeast Europe.

Through its modern international airport, Belgrade is easily accessible from Europe and the Middle East, with good connections available for those travelling from further afield.

Speaking at this year’s WYSTC event, which is currently taking place in Cape Town, David Chapman, Director General of WYSE Travel Confederation said: “We are delighted to announce that the host city for WYSTC 2016 is Belgrade in Serbia.

“The city’s location and accessibility, combined with its growing popularity with youth and student travellers, make it an ideal location for WYSTC 2016.
