Discover Valencia’s Hidden Gems: Free Guided Tours in Four Neighborhoods

Valencia’s City Council, through the Department of Tourism, has launched a series of free guided tours. These tours aim to highlight the rich cultural and historical heritage of four of the city’s neighborhoods: Patraix, Cabanyal-Canyamelar, Malva-rosa, and Benimàmet.

The program, named “Neighborhood Tourism” is designed to promote the unique resources each area offers. In Malva-rosa, tours will take place on July 6 and August 30 in Spanish. The latter date will also include a sign language interpreter. Additionally, a tour in Valencian is scheduled for July 13, and an English tour will be held on August 24. All tours will start at 7:00 PM.

In Benimàmet, guided tours are planned for July 27 in Valencian and August 10 in Spanish. The August tour will also have sign language interpretation. Both tours will begin at 7:00 PM.

Cabanyal-Canyamelar will host tours on June 22 in Spanish, July 21 in English, and August 24 in Spanish with sign language interpretation. The June tour will start at 11:00 AM, while the others will begin at 7:00 PM.

Finally, Patraix will welcome visitors on June 29 in Spanish, July 13 in Valencian, and August 31 in Spanish with sign language interpretation. The June tour will start at 11:00 AM, with the others beginning at 7:00 PM.

Each tour is expected to last between an hour and a half and two hours. Participation is free, but registration is required. To join, send an email to [email protected] with the names and phone numbers of up to four participants.
