Hilton is set to open a new 84-room property in Valencia’s Cabanyal district in December 2026, confirmed by the group’s official website. The hotel, named Cuber House Valencia, will operate under Hilton’s Curio Collection brand and will be located at Calle Mariano Cuber 26, close to Las Arenas Beach and La Marina.
The property spans four floors and includes 3 meeting rooms, a combined event space of 249 square metres and a range of dining and leisure facilities. Hilton’s website confirms the December 2026 opening date, noting that reservations are not yet being accepted.
The Curio Collection is Hilton’s upper-upscale brand for independently spirited hotels, typically chosen for destinations where local character and design play a central role in the guest experience. The Cabanyal property draws on the area’s maritime heritage, blending contemporary interiors with curated social spaces that reflect the neighbourhood’s coastal identity.
Dining at Cuber House Valencia will centre on two main concepts. La Naviera, the ground-floor restaurant with a covered terrace, will serve lunch and dinner with a menu the hotel describes as “tapas del mundo,” combining Spanish small plates with dishes inspired by international cuisines. The Ankor Lounge Club will open each evening, serving cocktails and drinks. A rooftop bar alongside the outdoor pool completes the food and beverage offer, providing poolside drinks and light bites with views across the neighbourhood.
Additional facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, EV charging, secured on-site parking at €30 per day and buffet breakfast available for a fee. The hotel is fully non-smoking and does not accept pets. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 12pm.
The Cabanyal opening marks Hilton’s return to Valencia, a city where the group previously operated a hotel during the America’s Cup era. The company already has more than 20 hotels open across Spain. With Cuber House Valencia, Hilton joins a wave of premium and luxury investment in a city whose hospitality market is undergoing significant expansion.
Local reports indicate that more than a third of new hotel rooms currently in the pipeline in Valencia are in five-star category projects, with seven new establishments under development. By 2028, Valencia is expected to have 1,653 five-star rooms, representing an increase of 51.7% on current supply levels. The Cuber House Valencia will form part of that expansion in one of the city’s most visited tourism zones.
The Cabanyal district, located just east of the city centre, has become one of Valencia’s most closely watched neighbourhoods for both tourism and investment. Its traditional street grid, direct beach access and growing concentration of restaurants and boutique accommodation have drawn leisure travellers and hospitality brands in increasing numbers. The arrival of a Hilton property is likely to strengthen its profile among visitors seeking a branded, design-led stay close to the waterfront.
The growth in hotel supply has also attracted scrutiny from local residents, who have raised concerns about the effect of new hotels, serviced apartments and short-term rental properties on housing costs and community displacement in an area that retains a strong residential character alongside its tourism offer.
Cuber House Valencia joins a Curio Collection portfolio that spans more than 100 properties across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The brand’s positioning allows individual hotels to retain their own name and identity while accessing Hilton’s global distribution network and Hilton Honors loyalty programme.
