Antalya has earned fresh recognition in one of Germany’s most influential travel media rankings after Bild named the Turkish Riviera’s top hotels for 2026, placing several of the region’s leading resorts among its recommended properties.
The ranking highlights the growing appeal of Antalya among European travellers, particularly those seeking all-inclusive holidays that combine luxury, family-friendly facilities and value for money. According to Bild, the destination continues to stand out against many Mediterranean rivals thanks to its extensive resort infrastructure, long coastline and diverse accommodation options.
The German newspaper focused particularly on the resort areas of Belek, Lara and Side, which together form the backbone of Antalya’s tourism offering. Each destination was recognised for serving different traveller segments, from luxury seekers and golfers to families and beach holidaymakers.
Luxury Resorts Lead the Ranking
Topping the list was Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort, which Bild praised for its premium service standards, golf facilities, spacious accommodation and culinary experiences. The resort has become one of the most recognised luxury tourism brands in Türkiye and regularly attracts high-spending international visitors.
Other highly ranked hotels included Regnum Carya, Cullinan Belek, Rixos Premium Belek, Titanic Mardan Palace, Concorde De Luxe Resort Lara, Delphin Imperial Lara, Barut Hemera Side, Voyage Sorgun and Paloma Finesse Side.
The ranking noted that Belek remains the centre of Antalya’s luxury resort market, thanks to its concentration of five-star hotels, championship golf courses and large-scale integrated resorts. Meanwhile, Lara was highlighted for its proximity to Antalya Airport, offering shorter transfer times that appeal to families and short-break travellers. Side and nearby Sorgun were recognised for their sandy beaches, family-oriented resorts and relaxed holiday atmosphere.
Antalya Benefits From Strong Tourism Infrastructure
According to the report, Antalya’s success is not based solely on hotel quality. The destination also benefits from extensive tourism infrastructure, strong international air connectivity and a hospitality sector capable of serving millions of visitors each year.
Antalya Airport is one of the busiest leisure gateways in the Mediterranean and serves dozens of European markets through scheduled and charter flights. Combined with Türkiye’s competitive all-inclusive holiday model, the city continues to attract visitors looking for both affordability and high service standards.
The ranking comes as competition intensifies across the Mediterranean tourism market. Destinations such as Greece, Spain and Egypt are all competing for European holidaymakers, making international recognition increasingly valuable for destinations seeking to maintain market share.
By placing Antalya’s resorts among the Turkish Riviera’s best hotels, Bild reinforced the destination’s reputation as one of Europe’s leading beach holiday markets. The recognition also highlights the strength of Antalya’s resort sector, which continues to invest in luxury accommodation, family-focused experiences and year-round tourism offerings.
