Astaş Holding signs an agreement with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for the branding and operation of the Resort Hotel, Villa and Residence project to be completed in 2013 with a targeted opening date of the first half of 2014 at Cennet Koyu (Paradise Bay), Bodrum at the ceremony attended by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Directors Mr. Christoph Mares and Mr. Paul M Massot and Astaş Holding Chairman of the Board Mr. Vedat Aşcı, held at Dolmabahçe Palace on Monday, February 6, 2012.

Astaş Holding undertakes another lead in Turkey with this collaboration made with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, one of the best luxury hotel operators of the world, renowned for its legendary services. Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum project nestled in the prime location Bodrum Göltürkbükü Cennet Bay, at one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean and Aegean, will be Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s first property in Turkey.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, operating 42 hotels only in sought-after destinations, will open its first resort hotel in the Aegean and Mediterranean basin in Bodrum, Turkey in collaboration with Astaş Holding. Astaş Holding with this investment will contribute to the appeal of the region by the elite jet-set and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s sophisticated clientele, carrying Bodrum to the top of the world’s most luxury resort destinations list.
The 102-key Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum and the 98 villas and 116 residences of The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum are beautifully set on a 600.000 m2 site at Cennet Bay which has two kilometers of coast line embracing three private bays, all offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and redefining Mediterranean lifestyle throughout all seasons.

With an environmental mission, Astaş Holding is being consulted by Turmepa – Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association, to fulfill the project’s aim to set new standards in the tourism sector and preserve the great natural beauty of the site which is mostly being reserved as rehabilitation area onto which over 100,000 new plants and trees will be planted.
