BLS International, one of the world’s largest providers of visa, passport, and consular services, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Turkey-based iDATA and its subsidiaries for approximately $96 million.
Established in 2005, BLS International continues to expand its global footprint with this strategic purchase.
According to the company’s statement, the acquisition was made through BLS International’s subsidiary, BLS International FZE, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, BLS International Holding. It solidifies BLS International’s position in the market and enhances its service offerings.
iDATA, a prominent Turkey-based company, operates more than 30 Visa Application Centers (VAC) in over 15 countries, providing visa processing and consular services to various governments. The company is particularly known for serving the diplomatic missions of Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
In 2023, iDATA reported impressive financial results, with consolidated revenue of approximately 1 billion Turkish Liras and an EBITDA of 567 million 794 thousand Turkish Liras. This acquisition is expected to boost BLS International’s operational capabilities and expand its reach in the global market.
