SKY express Names AVIAREPS as GSA in Turkey

Greek airline SKY express has officially appointed AVIAREPS as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Turkey, marking a strategic expansion of its international reach.

The partnership, effective from February 1, 2025, aims to enhance SKY express’s market presence, boost sales, and strengthen marketing efforts in the region.

AVIAREPS, a leading global representation, marketing, and communications company specializing in aviation and tourism, will now oversee SKY express’s sales promotions, marketing, and public relations in Turkey. This move builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, as AVIAREPS already represents the airline in five European markets.

Georgios Baliouskas, SKY express B2B Sales and Distribution Director said, “We are delighted to further strengthen our presence in these important markets by collaborating with AVIAREPS. SKY express is a leader in Greek domestic flights, offering international visitors and travel agents easy access to the country’s largest flight network covering 33 Greek destinations.

Our international routes are also growing rapidly and we currently serve 22 different destinations. With our 27 new generation aircraft, the youngest fleet in Greece, we aim to offer our passengers a seamless travel experience that combines high quality service and superior comfort at competitive prices.”.

Marcelo Kaiser, COO of AVIAREPS Aviation said, “SKY express is an excellent airline with significant coverage throughout Greece and is an impressive example of how a leading local airline can leverage our international networks and local knowledge to connect a quality airline to new international markets worldwide. We look forward to increasing the awareness and sales of SKY express in each of the three new markets where we have been assigned.”

The partnership will facilitate a more structured approach to sales, distribution, and marketing, allowing SKY express to expand its customer base in Turkey. With increased visibility, Turkish travelers will have greater access to Greece’s top destinations, including Athens, Crete, Mykonos, Santorini, and the Ionian Islands.
