SunExpress launches 8 new destinations this summer

SunExpress continues to increase its flights between Turkey and Europe during the summer season of 2019.

Offering the highest number of direct and scheduled flights to both Mediterranean and Aegean regions, SunExpress adds new destinations to its Antalya and Izmir flight network in this summer season.

Record seat capacity to Antalya; 4 new routes

The airline connecting Antalya to the highest number of destinations with direct flights both on domestic and international flights adds five new destinations to its flights between Antalya and Europe in the summer of 2019: Oslo, Eindhoven, Friedrichshafen, Gothenburg and Prague.

SunExpress, which started flying from Antalya to Oslo and Eindhoven with direct scheduled flights as of April 13, adds Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city, to its flight network as of May 26, and Prague, one of the world’s most visited tourism destinations as of June 11. In addition to all these new destinations, SunExpress is starting to fly to Friedrichshafen in Germany as of August 5.

SunExpress is now offering the highest number of sea capacity to Antalya, Turkey’s tourism capital and SunExpress’ hub with 3.7 million seats during the summer of 2019. SunExpress also increases flight frequency on many existing lines will fly to a total number of 36 international destinations from Antalya.

Three new destinations from Izmir: Eindhoven, St. Petersburg and Marseille

SunExpress, the first and only airline using Izmir as a HUB, adds three new destinations to its flights in this summer season: Eindhoven, St. Petersburg and Marseilles.

SunExpress, which began to fly directly from Izmir to Eindhoven as of April 13 will start to fly to St. Petersburg, Russia’s popular tourism destination as of 30 May, and Marseille, France’s second largest city as of 10 June.

SunExpress, offering 1.7 million seats to its HUB, increases the number of international destinations from Izmir to 32 in the summer of 2019 with the addition of new destinations.

SunExpress connecting Izmir directly with Adana, Antalya, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Erzurum, Kars, Kayseri, Konya, Malatya, Samsun, Trabzon and Van operates flights to 12 cities in Turkey from Izmir.

30% capacity increase to Anatolia

SunExpress, the first and only airline to fly the most with direct and scheduled flights between Anatolia and European cities, offers direct scheduled flights from 12 Anatolian cities including Kutahya, Malatya, Adana, Ankara, Gaziantep, Elazığ, Konya, Kayseri, Ordu-Giresun, Samsun, Trabzon and Diyarbakir to 16 cities in Europe with a capacity increase of 30 percent compared to the previous year. The new flights launched by the airline from Anatolia during the summer season are Ankara – Berlin, Malatya – Düsseldorf, Kütahya/Zafer – Düsseldorf, Samsun – Cologne, Diyarbakir – Stuttgart, Elazığ – Stuttgart, Konya – Stuttgart and Konya – Oslo.
