SunExpress which has applied a special livery with the theme “The Year of Aspendos” on its Boeing 737-800 type aircraft to contribute to Antalya’s development and promotion in July, has now sponsored the Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival which began on September 1 and will continue until September 18.
2019 was announced as “The Year of Aspendos” as part of a project to diversify tourism over 12 months in Antalya, which is one of the most important tourism destinations in Turkey with its rich historical and cultural heritage as well as its stunning nature and high standards of holiday facilities.
Beloved operas and timeless ballets like ‘Carmen’, ‘Aida’, ‘Troy’ and ‘Swan Lake’ are being presented to culture lovers at Aspendos Antique Theatre and Antalya Expo as part of the 26th International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s State Opera and Ballet General Directorate.
