Turkey’s leading cruise port in Aegean resort town of Kuşadası on Friday, March 13 welcomed a cruise ship carrying 375 tourists.
375 passengers arrived with the Celestyal Crystal ship with a capacity of 1,200 passengers. Tourists, mostly U.S. citizens, disembarked and visited popular tourist sites nearby such as Ephesus and the Virgin Mary’s House. Some tourists shopped in the city center.
According to media reports, all cruise passengers entering the country screened by thermal cameras to ensure their body temperatures are below 100.4℉ (38℃) and not display any symptoms of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other respiratory illness.
The ship left the port to continue the tour of the Greek islands in the evening.
