WTTC and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Ties

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia have reached a significant milestone by extending their partnership, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This historic agreement follows the successful Global Summit held in Riyadh last year and emphasizes the Kingdom’s dedication to enhancing its Travel & Tourism sector.

Saudi Arabia is allocating a remarkable $800 billion to unveil the full potential of its stunning landscapes and cultural riches to travelers around the globe. This monumental agreement brings together private and public sectors to develop a sustainable strategy for growth.

The MoU was signed during the Kingdom’s World Tourism Day event in Riyadh and fortifies the collaboration between WTTC and Saudi Arabia. It aims to promote job creation, talent development, and global business opportunities within the Travel & Tourism sector.

Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, expressed her enthusiasm about the new chapter of cooperation, stating, “Together, we can continue to create a powerful synergy that will open doors to endless opportunities, benefiting travelers, businesses, and destinations alike.”
