Brightline, America’s premier eco-friendly intercity rail provider, has announced the commencement of its service to Orlando International Airport starting September 22, 2023.
This new route will seamlessly connect Orlando to key South Florida destinations including Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. Travelers can now book their inaugural rides either through the Brightline website or its mobile app available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Patrick Goddard, Brightline’s president, expressed his excitement, stating, “The introduction of the Orlando route is a realization of our ultimate business vision. We’ve witnessed immense enthusiasm from both the business and tourism sectors, all eager to traverse between Central and South Florida.”
To celebrate the launch, Brightline is offering limited-time promotional fares. The SMART fares, starting at $79 for adults and $39 for kids, provide travelers with a business-class experience, complete with leather seats, complimentary Starlink WiFi, and a variety of on-board refreshments. Additionally, groups of four or more can avail a 25% discount on these fares. For those seeking a more luxurious journey, the PREMIUM fares, starting at $149, offer a first-class experience with added amenities such as a dedicated lounge, priority boarding, and complimentary snacks and beverages.
Brightline also extends a range of promotional offers tailored to different travelers. Corporate riders can benefit from the ‘Brightline for Business’ portal, while students can avail up to 25% off on SMART rides. The company also plans to introduce commissionable fares soon and aims to be available on GDS by the end of 2023.
The launch coincides with several events in both Orlando and South Florida, making it a perfect time for travelers to explore.
