Inside Shenzhen Airport’s New World of Luxury Dining and Retail

Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, one of China’s busiest travel hubs, is set to undergo a transformative upgrade as Avolta introduces an exciting mix of retail and dining experiences.

Effective November 2024 through 2030, this landmark partnership marks Avolta’s first major project in China, establishing the foundation for a new standard in airport travel.

Over 1,000 square meters at the airport will now feature five Hudson retail locations, including China’s first-ever Hudson Café—a hybrid store seamlessly blending shopping and dining.

The innovative concept invites travelers to unwind with premium food and beverages while browsing curated retail selections. Additional outlets include two Hudson Market stores and two Hudson Evolve locations, bringing diverse, high-quality options to the airport’s passengers.

For dining enthusiasts, the lineup doesn’t stop there. Shenzhen Airport will welcome Wolfgang Puck Kitchen + Bar, known for globally inspired cuisine in a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere.

Passengers can also savor the award-winning flavors of Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, renowned for its traditional Shanghainese dishes and signature Xiao Long Bao dumplings.

Together, these dining options promise to elevate the culinary experience for millions of travelers.

The phased rollout begins this November, with the opening of three retail stores.

By mid-2025, the remaining retail and dining locations will join the bustling airport scene, enhancing its appeal as a world-class aviation hub.

This ambitious collaboration aligns with Shenzhen Airport’s strategic vision to deliver diverse, high-quality experiences that complement its role as an international gateway.
