Vienna Airport on April 19, 2023, welcomes the opening of outlets of two globally well-known brands: Costa Coffee and Burger King.
Both catering facilities are located in the arrival hall and are publicly accessible to travelers and to the people picking them up. In this way, Vienna Airport and Lagardère Travel Retail Austria are expanding the offering of international brands at Vienna Airport.
“With Costa Coffee, a globally renowned brand is opening its first Austrian location with us. A new Burger King restaurant rounds off the international offering in the arrival hall. In collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail Austria, we offer travelers as well as meeters and greeters an even greater culinary offering at Vienna Airport” states Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport.

Passengers and meeters and greeters can expect aromatic coffee creations with a history from Costa Coffee and delicious, freshly grilled burgers from Burger King. Costa Coffee and Burger King: Two international stars in the arrival hall
Vienna Airport is the first Costa Coffee location in Austria. The world’s well-known coffee brand Costa Coffee has established a foothold in Austria for the first time and now offers a broad selection of coffee as well as small sweet and salty snacks in the arrival hall of Vienna Airport. Costa Coffee is famous for its “Signature Blend” coffee. The Costa brothers needed all of 112 attempts to perfect this blend. The brand was founded in London in the year 1971 by the Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa. In the meantime, Costa Coffee has expanded to 41 countries across the globe. The international franchise chain Burger King also started operating in the arrival hall today in addition to its restaurant in Terminal 1. The two international food and beverage premises are open daily i.e., Costa Coffee from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Burger King from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Both restaurants are operated by Lagardère Travel Retail Austria.
