Formula 1 Team Partners with Hahnair Aviation

A leading executive charter airline, Hahnair, is set to revolutionize travel for a major Formula 1 team starting in the 2025 season.

Visa Cash App RB has announced Hahnair as its Official Private Aviation Partner under a multiyear agreement designed to enhance logistical efficiency across a packed 24-race calendar.

With races spread across continents and squeezed into a demanding nine-month schedule, travel logistics are critical to maintaining team readiness. Hahnair’s tailored charter services, renowned for their quality and attention to detail, will help streamline the team’s operations throughout the season.

Hahnair is celebrated for its cutting-edge fleet equipped with the latest energy-efficient technology. Beginning in 2025, the airline will adopt Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to further reduce its environmental footprint. This move aligns with Formula 1’s broader sustainability goals, including its commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2030.

Team Principal Laurent Mekies highlighted the significance of the partnership, saying, “Their specialised services will greatly support our logistical capabilities, ensuring that our team operates at peak efficiency throughout the season.”

Meanwhile, Peter Bayer, CEO of Visa Cash App RB, underscored the logistical challenges posed by the team’s split operations, with aerodynamics engineers based in the UK and their main factory located in Italy. The partnership with Hahnair will bridge these gaps, ensuring seamless connectivity.

Daniel Rudas, General Manager & COO of Hahnair, echoed these sentiments: “We will ensure that the Team can focus on their core business while we handle their challenging travel needs.”

This partnership not only supports the team’s operational demands but also underscores Formula 1’s and Hahnair’s shared commitment to sustainability. By integrating SAF and leveraging innovative travel solutions, both organizations aim to set a benchmark in efficiency and environmental responsibility.

As the 2025 season approaches, Hahnair’s role promises to be a game-changer in a sport where every second counts, both on and off the track.
