Gebrüder Weiss: Leading Sponsorship in Austrian National Pool Championships 2023

In the scenic locale of Tyrol, logistics company Gebrüder Weiss is stepping up as the principal sponsor for the Austrian National Pool Championships 2023, scheduled from October 24 to November 2.

The event, taking place in Wattens, will witness Austria’s finest pool players competing in three exhilarating tournaments: the Austrian National Championships, the Austrian Pool League finals, and the International Wheelchair Tournament.

Günter Schmarl, Branch Manager Tyrol at Gebrüder Weiss, draws parallels between the precision, focus, strategy, fairness, and team spirit inherent in billiards and the values guiding the logistics company. “These are qualities that are required to be successful both on the green cloth and in the world of logistics,” he remarks.

Interestingly, Gebrüder Weiss’s team boasts a billiards maestro, Elmar Constantini, a two-time national champion and Austrian Champion in the senior division. He is not just an employee at the company’s location in Hall i.T. but will also be competing in the championships. Constantini expressed his gratitude and excitement over his employer’s support for the championships, believing that the company’s visible commitment would inspire many competitors.

The 42nd Austrian National Pool Championships will see a total of 160 participants vying for 22 prestigious medals. Gebrüder Weiss’s brand name will be prominently featured throughout the event, symbolizing the passion and precision that the company is renowned for in the logistics industry.
