Zaplox AB, which offers hotels, resorts and casinos a contact-free digital guest journey for a safe and engaging guest experience, announced that BWH Hotel Group Scandinavia, a leading, global hospitality network, has signed a cooperation agreement to offer Zaplox digital guest journey to BWH’s 160 member hotels with a total of about 15,000 rooms in Scandinavia.
The BWH Hotel Group hospitality network includes three hotel companies, including WorldHotels® Collection, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and SureStay Hotel Group®. The group’s members represent most of the hotel segments, from renowned luxury hotels and exclusive boutique hotels to affordable smaller hotels with comfort and full service – all designed for a personal guest experience. BWH Hotel Group, which is a franchise organization, acts as an umbrella organization across the group’s 17 brands that form a global network with a total of approximately 4,700 hotels spread across different hotel segments in more than 100 countries.
The cooperation agreement is a 3-year agreement that gives member hotels the opportunity to launch their own digital guest journey quickly and easily, with the help of Zaplox guest solutions that have proven integrations to market-leading hotel locks and property management systems (PMS).
The new agreement with BWH Hotel Group Scandinavia covers Zaplox’s innovative product portfolio, including Zaplox Mobile Key App (Premium 1), a cost-effective mobile key solution that eliminates the handling of physical key cards and Zaplox Mobile Guest App (Premium 3), a custom-branded mobile guest app with mobile check-in, checkout, mobile key, payment, personalized offers, and guest communications. In addition, the agreement also includes Zaplox Kiosk, which is a self-service solution for handling check-in, checkout, payment, and printing of key cards.
Zaplox’s solutions enable guests to conveniently manage check-in and checkout by themselves and to get their hotel room key delivered directly through the mobile app, allowing hotel staff to focus on more value-adding and revenue-generating services. In addition, Zaplox offers the opportunity to communicate information about the hotel’s award-winning loyalty program, Best Western Rewards, directly in the hotel’s own custom branded app with the ability for guests to sign up for a membership at check-in, during their stay, or after checkout.
