JetBlue Expands Transatlantic Market Presence with Nonstop Service to Paris

JetBlue Airways has made its highly anticipated entry into the continental European market with the launch of new nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

This expansion is significant as Paris is the largest market that JetBlue did not previously serve from New York and is one of the most requested destinations among the airline’s customer base.

By offering daily flights connecting New York to Paris, along with successful routes between the U.S. and London and upcoming service to Amsterdam, JetBlue is disrupting high-fare legacy carriers that have traditionally dominated transatlantic routes for decades. Furthermore, JetBlue has plans to introduce service between Boston and Paris in 2024, further strengthening their presence in the European market.

JetBlue’s CEO, Robin Hayes, expressed excitement about the airline’s entry into the Paris market. He stated, “JetBlue’s arrival into Paris is poised to disrupt the market once again with our award-winning service and low fares, bringing a fresh and innovative choice in transatlantic flying to a new European audience.” Hayes is confident that JetBlue can provide exceptional service and affordability without compromising on quality. The airline is eager to introduce its renowned Mint and Core onboard services to both business and leisure travelers flying to and from Paris.

The flights will operate daily on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 Long Range (LR) aircraft, which offers a redesigned cabin layout featuring 24 Mint Suite seats, 114 core seats, and the sleek Airspace cabin interior. The A321, with its wide-body range and the cost-effectiveness of a single-aisle aircraft, enables JetBlue to disrupt the transatlantic market with their unbeatable combination of low fares and award-winning service on flights between the U.S. and Paris.
