IHG Unveils Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport – North


In a move to enhance its presence near one of the world’s busiest airports, IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport – North.

Located just minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and within a short drive of downtown attractions, the new hotel aims to provide a convenient and comfortable experience for travelers.

Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport – North showcases the brand’s latest design concepts and amenities, catering to the needs of on-the-go guests. The hotel offers 224 contemporary and spacious guest rooms that feature multi-functional seating and storage solutions. Guests can also enjoy the complimentary Express Start breakfast, which offers a variety of hot and fresh items. Additionally, each room is equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, 50” TV, coffee, and tea facilities.

To cater to the needs of business and group travelers, the hotel provides 2,800 square feet of meeting space. This allows guests to remain productive and collaborative during their stay. For relaxation, the hotel offers a modernized fitness center and an outdoor pool.

IHG Hotels & Resorts worked closely with owner and manager Natson Hotel Management LLC to convert, renovate, and open Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport – North. Natson Hotel Management, based in Georgia, currently operates 15 open or in-pipeline IHG properties across the Southern U.S., including four additional Holiday Inn Express hotels in Georgia.

Brandon Turner, President and COO of Natson Hotel Management LLC, highlighted the hotel’s ability to remove travel barriers and provide guests with the space and services needed for a comfortable stay. He expressed enthusiasm about the hotel’s progress, stating, “It’s amazing to see how far this property has come in just seven months, and we look forward to working with IHG to further elevate what we consider the perfect spot for modern, comfortable, and convenient travel.”

Holiday Inn Express, launched in 1991, has become the largest IHG global brand with over 3,095 open hotels in more than 50 countries. The opening of Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport – North is among the many initiatives to expand the brand. IHG plans to open additional hotels in Dallas, Guadalajara, and Glendale, California, by 2023. The brand also has 314 additional U.S. hotels in its pipeline.
