Aeroflot has brought FIBA World Cup 2019 Trophy to Moscow. On August 1, the FIBA 2019 Trophy arrived in the Russian capital from Tokyo. On August 4, it will set off to China. The Trophy Tour will take place across the eight Chinese host cities where FIBA Basketball World Cup games will be played from August 31 to September 15.
The world Trophy Tour launched in Beijing on May 23, 2019. Global basketball’s ultimate prize visited five continents making stops in 23 countries, including USA, Canada, Argentina, Senegal, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand as well as a few European countries. Russia has become 24th participating country with Moscow being the final stop before the Trophy travels to China.

Under the contract, the leading Russian carrier has the Presenting Partnership rights for the first-ever FIBA Trophy Tour. Russia’s largest airline will also present the gala Trophy Ceremony that will take place after the Final in Beijing on September 15.
FIBA World Cup 2019 Trophy was presented in Zaryadye Park on August 1. The gala ceremony in the Park’s Great Amphitheatre was attended by the Russian Basketball Federation President Andrei Kirilenko and other honoured guests. Events for basketball fans included contests to win prizes from the Russian national team. The Trophy will be showcased in Zaryadye until the end of the day. On 2 August, it will be exhibited at 6th Floor of Afimall trade center at Moscow City. The Trophy will also be displayed at the CSKA Sports Complex during the International BingoBoom tournament games between Russia and Jordan as well as Iran – Russia (August 2, August 4).
