Continent Worldwide Hotels announced the signing of a master franchise and development agreement with Distinguished Hospitality Services to introduce and develop three of Continent’s most prominent brands: Continent Hotels & Resorts, Ancyra Hotels & Inns and Lofty Collection across the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.
This announcement, it’s the second market portfolio expansion in the past nine months, that confirms Continent’s strategy to continue to expand its brands internationally.
The Middle East and Saudi Arabia’s travel industry is continuously growing and both leisure and business travelers’ having an interest in mid-market and budget accommodations as well as a continued desire for upscale brands.
“We observe that markets such as Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Makkah are undersupplied in mid-market hotel accommodations, providing an opportunity for a fresh hotel brand such as Continent to bring its portfolio to the market. The master franchise and development agreement is anticipated to deliver approximately 25 hotels and 4,000 hotel rooms for the Continent’s portfolio in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia by 2024.
