Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall Boston announced the appointment of Kevin Matheson as the hotel’s new General Manager and the flagship of the property.
Matheson will be at the helm of day-to-day operations, ensuring personalized, high-quality service to all guests, and will continue to offer a home base for locals and travelers to explore Downtown Boston.
Most recently, Matheson served as Area General Manager for Colwen Hotels, overseeing all aspects of the AC Boston North Hotel, Towneplace Suites Medford, and Fairfield Inn Medford. Before this, Matheson held multiple positions with Pyramid Hotel Group, where he began developing his skills in hospitality and as a General Manager.

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry in Boston, Matheson brings his wealth of knowledge and expertise in hotel management to his role at Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall Boston.

After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in hotel, restaurant, travel administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Matheson started his career working for Marriott International then went on to work with Four Seasons, Taj Hotels and then the independent, Boston Seaport Hotel before joining Pyramid Hotel Group. Since then, Matheson quickly moved up the ranks in the hospitality industry and is excited to lead the team at the Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall Boston.
