Parian Chronicle hotel is set to open in summer 2026 on the Greek island of Paros, marking the arrival of the Destination by Hyatt brand to the destination. The 50-room hotel will be located in Kampos, close to Paros Airport and Parikia port, offering a low-density retreat overlooking the Aegean Sea.
The property aims to deliver a design-led and culturally rooted hospitality experience inspired by the ancient Parian Chronicle, a marble inscription documenting Greek history. The concept focuses on storytelling, heritage and human connection, positioning the hotel within Paros’ growing appeal as an alternative to Mykonos and Santorini.
The hotel will feature a mix of rooms and suites, many with private terraces or pools, designed to maximise natural light and privacy. Its low-density layout is intended to create a more relaxed and immersive stay while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Design plays a central role in the project, with Cycladic architecture reinterpreted through a softer and more textural approach. Whitewashed structures are combined with natural stone, warm woods and tactile finishes, while interiors use muted earth tones and sculptural forms to create a calm and contemporary atmosphere.
Dining at Parian Chronicle will reflect the island’s seasonal produce and local traditions. Menus will focus on ingredient-led cooking inspired by Paros and the wider Cyclades, paired with regional wines and a more informal, sociable style of service.
- Seasonal menus based on local ingredients
- Regional wines from the Cyclades
- Sharing-style lunches and relaxed dining experiences
- Producer-led tastings and local collaborations
Guests will also be able to take part in curated experiences such as communal feasts and tastings that highlight Parian culture. These offerings are designed to connect visitors more closely with the island’s traditions and rhythms.
Wellness facilities will draw on ancient Greek healing practices, incorporating natural elements and restorative rituals. The spa concept focuses on a slower, holistic approach to wellbeing, supported by quiet relaxation areas and a fitness offering.
As Paros continues to attract travellers seeking a more understated alternative to busier Cycladic destinations, Parian Chronicle is positioned to offer a balance of design, location and cultural authenticity. Further details, including imagery and opening updates, are expected to be released ahead of the launch.
