AirJapan Set to Take Off: Tokyo Narita-Bangkok Route Launching

ANA HOLDINGS INC. is gearing up to break new ground in the aviation industry with the introduction of AirJapan, their new airline brand focused on medium-haul international routes.

The maiden journey for AirJapan is scheduled to be the Tokyo Narita-Bangkok route, taking off on February 9, 2024.

The strategically chosen flights will depart from Terminal 1 at Narita Airport. This location ensures convenient connections to flights operated by other airlines under the ANA Group umbrella. Likewise, AirJapan’s choice of Suvarnabhumi Airport as the arrival point offers passengers easy connectivity to both subsequent flights and the bustling urban area of Bangkok.

Hideki Mineguchi, President of AirJapan, expresses the company’s ambitions for the new venture. “By launching AirJapan, we aim to encapsulate the very best of Japan within the cabin to enhance the passenger’s journey,” Mineguchi explained. “We eagerly anticipate welcoming passengers onboard and offering them the exceptional journey that AirJapan promises.”

In a bid to cater to the varied requirements of leisure and business travellers alike, AirJapan is set to provide a broad spectrum of services and fare options. With the Japanese government’s target of attracting 60 million foreign visitors to Japan by 2030 in mind, AirJapan is poised to significantly contribute to this goal.

Under the innovative concept of “Fly Thoughtful”, AirJapan invites passengers to partake in a novel travel experience. This concept encourages passengers to select and personalize their services freely, marrying the quality of a full-service carrier (FSC) with the convenience of a low-cost carrier (LCC), thanks to the backing of the ANA Group.
