As of 30 October 2023, Qatar Airways has announced its plans to amplify its service frequency to New York’s JFK Airport.
The airline is boosting its current two daily flights to an impressive three. This augmentation not only provides more convenient flight timings for passengers but also reinforces the airline’s commitment to bridging global connections.
The early morning arrivals and late evening departures from JFK are structured to cater to the international traveler, ensuring minimal layovers and swift connections. This move strategically positions Qatar Airways to offer swift connections between New York and over 80 destinations spanning the Middle-East, Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
American travelers have further cause for celebration. The partnership between JetBlue and Qatar Airways has been strengthened, paving the way for smoother connections from cities like Detroit, Raleigh-Durham, Orlando, and Tampa, to global destinations such as Doha, Kathmandu, Bangkok, or even Johannesburg.
Loyalty won’t go unrewarded either. Members of Qatar Airways Privilege Club and JetBlue TrueBlue now have the luxury of earning miles on a broad array of codeshare flights.
Moreover, Qatar Airways and American Airlines are pushing boundaries. Come 28 October 2023, American Airlines is launching its service from Philadelphia directly to Doha. This promises travelers more seamless options across North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and global destinations in Africa, the Middle-East, and Asia.
For those on the West Coast, Alaska Airlines, in tandem with Qatar Airways, is on a mission to enhance connectivity. In the upcoming weeks, passengers can anticipate booking even more destinations beyond Doha directly on Alaska Airlines’ official platform.

Currently, Qatar Airways’ U.S. footprint includes key destinations such as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.
