ITA Airways Launches New Nonstop Flight from Milan Linate to Malta Luqa

ITA Airways, Italy’s flagship airline, has announced the launch of ticket sales for its latest route, a nonstop flight connecting Milan Linate with Malta Luqa, starting June 1st, 2024.

This new connection will offer four weekly flights between June and September, enhancing travel options to Malta.

The flight schedule is tailored for convenience, with departures from Milan Linate at 11:10 a.m. and from Malta Luqa at 1:55 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Saturdays will see a late afternoon flight, ensuring flexibility for travelers.

This addition strengthens ITA Airways’ commitment to Malta, complementing the existing service from Rome Fiumicino. The airline plans to increase the frequency of flights from Rome to Malta, offering daily flights by June.

In Summer 2024, ITA Airways will expand its network to 57 destinations, including 16 domestic, 26 international, and 15 intercontinental routes. The expansion includes new direct flights from Rome Fiumicino to major cities in North America, Africa, and the Middle East.

Notably, ITA Airways will introduce flights to Chicago in April, followed by Toronto and Riyadh in May. The airline will continue to broaden its reach with flights to Accra, Kuwait City, Dakar, and Jeddah in the subsequent months.

Additionally, ITA Airways will offer 10 seasonal connections to popular Mediterranean destinations during the summer peak. These include flights to Greek islands, Spanish destinations, and Italian islands, directly from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate.
