Alaska Airlines announces a new nonstop service connecting Portland and Atlanta starting this fall.
The service, beginning on October 1, will offer daily flights operating year-round, enhancing the airline’s network.
Tickets for this new route will go on sale this weekend, available exclusively at alaskaair.com. This addition marks a significant expansion for Alaska Airlines in Portland, offering passengers more flexibility and options for travel.
“For more than 20 years, we’ve been the largest carrier in Portland – one of our key West Coast gateways. We’re always looking for ways to connect the Rose City to other destinations across our network. We believe our flights to Atlanta will be a popular addition for our guests heading to the South,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning for Alaska Airlines.

Onboard, travelers will find power outlets at every seat and access to a wide selection of free movies and TV shows. Alaska’s aircraft are equipped with satellite Wi-Fi and a pre-order option for fresh meals, ensuring a comfortable and convenient journey.
