Gabriella Gentile Re-elected to Lead Italy’s Event Industry

Federcongressi&eventi, Italy’s leading conference and events industry body, has re-elected Gabriella Gentile as its president.

This decision came during the association’s 15th National Convention, which recently wrapped up in Rome.

The event, held from February 23 to 24, drew over 300 professionals from the conference tourism sector. It was a significant occasion, also celebrating Federcongressi&eventi’s 20th anniversary.

Gabriella Gentile brings a wealth of experience to the role, being a key figure in the conference and events sector. She is a co-founder of Meeting Consultants, specializing in MICE business development.

Gentile has also contributed academically as an adjunct professor at the University of Bologna since 2006. Her course, “Management of Cultural Events,” adds to her distinguished profile in event management.

Expressing gratitude for her re-election, Gentile highlighted the achievements of her first term. She noted the association’s efforts in aiding the post-Covid recovery of Italy’s meetings industry.

Under her leadership, Federcongressi&eventi has become a pivotal partner in shaping strategies for the sector. Gentile is optimistic about the association’s future in supporting its members and the wider industry.
