APG Airlines and Luxair re-elected to the ERA Board

ERA announced the re-election of two airline Board members and one non-airline Board member, as well as two new non-airline Board members.

These appointments will strengthen the association’s mission to advocate for the regional aviation sector in Europe and address the unique challenges it faces.

The re-elected Board members include:

ERA airline Board member: Sandrine de Saint Sauveur, President and CEO, APG Airlines

Sandrine de Saint Sauveur has been an active member of the ERA Board for the past six years. Now the President and CEO of APG Airlines, de Saint Sauveur has dedicated the past 25 years to growing the APG Group, gaining extensive knowledge in airline commercial operations and distribution. Upon her appointment, she expressed pride in representing all ERA members and serving as a voice for European regional airlines.

ERA airline Board member: Gilles Feith, CEO, Luxair

Having already served on the ERA Board for the past three years, Gilles Feith brings extensive experience in strategic leadership, crisis management and digital transformation. His re-election will see him continue to advocate for the unique needs of regional airlines, emphasising their critical role in connecting communities and supporting local economies. Passionate about sustainability and innovation, Feith aims to drive initiatives that enhance competitiveness and environmental responsibility in the sector.

ERA non-airline Board member: Clemente Affinito, Vice President Sales Europe, ATR

As a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in the industry, Clemente Affinito remains committed to promoting the vital role of regional airlines. A passionate ERA Board member for nearly 20 years, he continues to contribute to association policies. Affinito leverages his experience to support the needs of regional airlines, focusing on sustainable solutions and fostering industry collaboration.

The newly elected Board members include:

ERA non-airline Board member: Johan Pelissier, President of Region Europe Head of Commercial Europe for Commercial Aircraft, Airbus

Pelissier brings over 25 years of international experience across telecommunications, defence and aerospace, including 14 years at Airbus. He is committed to fostering collaboration and defending a safe, sustainable aerospace sector amidst growing regulatory challenges. By joining the ERA Board, Pelissier aims to leverage his global network and multicultural perspective to support the voice of regional aviation and tackle future challenges.

ERA non-airline Board member: Tony Whitty, SVP Aircraft & Engine Procurement, AJW Group

With over 20 years of experience in the aircraft industry, Whitty brings valuable expertise to both the association and its members. Having previously served on the ERA Board, he is well-positioned to contribute to key initiatives and projects, ensuring positive outcomes for all involved. His extensive background includes managing aviation companies, facilitating aircraft transactions and navigating the complexities of the industry. Additionally, his vast network of contacts further enhances his ability to drive meaningful results for the association.
