Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline, FlyArystan, launches Istanbul-Karaganda flights, a new seasonal route, offering the first-ever direct connection between the two cities.
This marks the first-ever direct flights between the two cities, making travel between Turkey and Kazakhstan easier and more affordable.
The inaugural flight is scheduled for June 4, 2025, and the airline will operate twice-weekly service on Wednesdays and Fridays until August 29, 2025. Tickets are already available for purchase through FlyArystan’s official website, mobile app, and sales channels.
A First for Istanbul-Karaganda Travel
As the first airline to offer direct flights on this route, FlyArystan is responding to the growing demand for convenient travel between Kazakhstan’s central industrial hub and Turkey’s largest city.
Karaganda, a major economic and cultural center, has strong business and tourism links with Turkey, making this new connection a valuable addition to FlyArystan’s expanding network.
Travelers can now fly non-stop instead of taking connecting flights, significantly reducing travel time and making both cities more accessible for business, tourism, and family visits.

Founded in 2019 as Kazakhstan’s first low-cost carrier, FlyArystan has quickly expanded its operations and now functions as an independent airline under its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
