Arabian Travel Market 2025 is set to welcome a record number of exhibitors and international participants as global tourism continues its upward trajectory.
Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1, ATM 2025 will bring together over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 161 countries, highlighting the latest travel trends, investment opportunities, and global connectivity.
With the tourism industry surpassing 1.4 billion international arrivals in 2024, an 11% increase from the previous year, ATM 2025 reflects the industry’s strong rebound and future growth potential. According to UN Tourism, total export revenues from travel—including passenger transport—reached an unprecedented $1.9 trillion last year. The Middle East, in particular, continues to outperform pre-pandemic levels, with international arrivals rising 32% above 2019 figures.
Asia Leads Global Participation with India at the Forefront
This year’s edition of ATM sees a surge in Asian exhibitors, with a 27% increase in participation compared to the previous year. This rise is largely attributed to enhanced regional connectivity and stronger links with international markets. Key contributors to this growth include Japan, Macao, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India.
India stands out as one of the fastest-growing tourism markets, with a 41% increase in participation at ATM 2025. The country’s presence will be led by the Ministry of Tourism, along with major national airline carriers, tourism boards, and private sector stakeholders. State-level participation from Rajasthan Tourism, the Government of Goa, Andhra Pradesh Tourism, and the Jakarta Provincial Government further highlights Asia’s expanding role in the travel sector.
Middle East and Europe Strengthen Market Position
The Middle East remains a powerhouse in the global tourism industry, with participation from regional exhibitors rising by 17% this year. Saudi Arabia’s giga projects and expanding private sector will be among the highlights, reflecting the Kingdom’s ambitious tourism transformation.
Meanwhile, European exhibitors are set for a 12% increase in participation, showcasing a diverse mix of cultural and historical tourism offerings. Exhibitor presence from Africa and the Americas remains steady, indicating strong interest in cross-continental tourism collaboration.
A Platform for Industry Leaders and Emerging Markets
ATM 2025 will center on the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity”, focusing on the role of air links, infrastructure, and digital transformation in shaping the future of travel.
