This New Hotel in Vietnam Has a Rooftop Champagne Bar Above a UNESCO Landscape

Accor has opened Pullman Ninh Binh, the first internationally branded hotel in Ninh Binh, northern Vietnam, introducing a rooftop Champagne bar and three swimming pools to a region best known for its UNESCO World Heritage limestone landscapes. The property stands as the city’s tallest building, offering uninterrupted views across Trang An and the surrounding karst mountains.

The 283-room hotel is located approximately 1.5 hours from Noi Bai International Airport and sits within reach of Ninh Binh’s most celebrated landmarks, including the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and Cuc Phuong National Park. Opening rates start from VND 3,300,000++ per room per night for two guests, including daily breakfast and VND 500,000 net in food and beverage credit per night.

Spaces Designed for Exchange

Pullman Ninh Binh features 283 contemporary rooms and suites, each with a private balcony overlooking the city or surrounding mountains. Suites include separate living areas and access to the Executive Lounge, while the Presidential Suite offers two balconies, a private kitchen, and a dedicated dining area.

The hotel’s design draws on its natural surroundings, incorporating locally sourced materials, greenery, and smart energy systems throughout. The lobby is conceived as a fluid, multi-functional arrival space that flows into co-creation lounges and flexible work zones.

Dining options include FoodConneXion, an all-day restaurant on the lobby floor serving global cuisine and Ninh Binh specialties; Lumi Lounge, a casual daytime and evening gathering space; and Bublx, the city’s highest rooftop Champagne bar, which offers sweeping views of Trang An paired with Champagne and Vietnamese-inspired tapas. Two further venues, a contemporary steakhouse and a Cantonese restaurant, are scheduled to open later this year.

The property also offers 1,700 square metres of flexible meeting and event space, a 24-hour gym, full-size sports courts, and a Pullman Spa. Three swimming pools — indoor, outdoor, and rooftop — complete the wellness offering.

A New Chapter for Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh has drawn growing interest from both domestic and international travellers in recent years, driven by its striking karst scenery and proximity to the Trang An UNESCO World Heritage Site. The arrival of an internationally branded property marks a significant step in the region’s development as a tourism destination.

“We are pleased to expand our network into Ninh Binh, a destination that is rapidly emerging as one of Vietnam’s most compelling places,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer, Premium, Midscale and Economy Division for Accor in Asia. “Introducing Pullman to Ninh Binh reinforces our confidence in the destination’s long-term growth potential and our strategic focus on shaping new benchmarks for premium hospitality beyond Vietnam’s traditional gateways.”

“Ninh Binh holds exceptional potential for both leisure and business travel, and the opening of Pullman Ninh Binh marks an important new chapter for the destination’s international profile,” said David Stanley DE BRITO, General Manager of Pullman Ninh Binh. “With its rich history, distinctive cultural attractions and striking natural landscapes, Ninh Binh has all the elements to emerge as a leading destination in Vietnam.”
