Hyatt Zilara Cancun gets a major refresh with 12 new dining venues and a reimagined spa

Hyatt Zilara Cancun has completed a full renovation of its 310-suite adults-only, all-inclusive resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, introducing redesigned accommodations, 12 overhauled dining venues and a reimagined spa.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the debut of the revamped property, which sits between the Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. The renovation covers all suites, public spaces, pool and beach areas, and the resort’s full dining and entertainment programme.

“We are pleased to share the debut of new enhancements at Hyatt Zilara Cancun following a transformative renovation that elevates the guest experience,” said Eduardo Rojas, General Manager of Hyatt Zilara Cancun. “These new enhancements blend modern luxury with local character, offering guests and members a rich sense of place and connection in a destination they know and love.”

Redesigned suites and public spaces

All 310 suites have been redesigned with natural textures and sun-warmed tones inspired by the region’s native surroundings, including locally sourced artwork and handcrafted details. Each suite overlooks the Caribbean Sea and is designed around the concept of rest and rejuvenation.

Public areas across the resort have been modernised, with updated pool and beach amenities including enhanced shaded areas, upgraded loungers and a redesigned private beach zone intended to give guests a quieter retreat.

New spa and wellness offering

The newly reimagined Zen Spa offers treatments built around the philosophy of balance, incorporating naturally sourced ingredients and holistic techniques. New additions include revitalising hydrotherapy journeys and curated wellness experiences guests can combine into a personalised programme.

Dining and entertainment

All 12 dining venues have been redesigned with updated menus and new concepts. Among the additions is Bokeh, a speakeasy inspired by 1920s art-deco design with a capacity of 23 guests. Entry is by reservation only through the culinary concierge, with each visit structured as a 90-minute experience featuring exclusive mixology, a curated wine selection and live music.

Casa Adelita offers a single seating per day for up to ten guests, centred on Yucatecan cooking and an interactive culinary journey through Mexico’s heritage. A new Italian restaurant, Olio D’Olivia, serves lunch and dinner along the waterfront, with handcrafted pastas, artisanal risottos and dishes drawing on the traditions of northern Italy.

Hyatt’s broader Cancun commitment

The renovation reinforces Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s position in the all-inclusive segment, which now spans more than 150 resorts and over 55,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Hyatt has recently opened Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort and Spa and Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, and completed a renovation of Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort. The company also expects to open Park Hyatt Riviera Maya later in 2026.
