Corendon Airlines enters top 10 for service exports in Türkiye

Corendon Airlines has entered the top 10 companies contributing most to Türkiye’s service exports, according to the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly.

The airline was also included in the “Türkiye’s Top 1,000 Exporters” list at the Champions of Export Awards ceremony, held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul on 26 June 2026.

The award came as Corendon marked 20 years of operation and said it now serves about 10 million passengers a year across 170 cities in 45 countries. Its chief executive said the company had flown to 109 countries and 542 airports so far.

Corendon Airlines chairman and chief executive Yıldıray Karaer received the award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In a statement, Karaer said the airline’s success was built on steady, planned and market-focused growth.

“We are proud to pass 20 years and to serve about 10 million passengers a year,” said Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Corendon Airlines.

He said the airline’s 35-aircraft fleet and expanding operations continued to support Türkiye’s service exports, tourism and employment.

“We continue to invest in technology, research and development, innovation and our people,” added Karaer.

Karaer said strong momentum in Poland, the UK and Germany had become an important sign of the company’s international growth strategy.

Corendon said it wanted to strengthen its position further in the coming period. The company also said it saw the recognition as a result of sustainable growth and the efforts of its staff.

The Turkish Exporters’ Assembly held the awards under the theme “Our Work is Production, Our Strength is Exports” and recognised companies that contribute to Türkiye’s economy and service exports.
