Delta Adds More Flights to Shanghai-Pudong via Seoul-Incheon

Delta Adds More Flights to Shanghai-Pudong

Delta Air Lines will add two weekly flights between the U.S. and China starting Aug. 24 to meet increased customer demand and a rebound in travel.

Delta will add flights departing from Seattle and Detroit, going to Shanghai-Pudong via Seoul-Incheon. By then, Delta will operate four weekly flights between the U.S. and China. In late June, Delta became the first U.S. airline to re-connect the U.S. and China following a temporary suspension of service in February due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“We are excited to expand our seat capacity to address the growing demand from customers, who are showing a strong need for travel,” said Wong Hong, President - Greater China and Singapore, Delta Air Lines. “We will continue our commitment to providing a safe travel experience, as our top priority remains safeguarding the safety, health and peace-of-mind of our passengers and our crew.”

The SEA-ICN-PVG flights and the DTW-ICN-PVG flights will be served with the A350, featuring Delta’s newest cabin products and bringing clean and safe services to customers. Moreover, Delta is constantly updating best practices and improving Delta CareStandard, new standards of care based on expert medical advice and customer feedback.
