United Airlines Adds 127 New Flights for College Football Fans; Partners with 2023 Heisman Winner Caleb Williams

United Airlines announced the addition of 127 new nonstop flights to its schedule, catering specifically to college football fans this season.

This move expands the airline’s commitment to aiding fans in supporting their favorite teams, including Wisconsin, USC, University of Michigan, Penn State, and more, across 30 games this season.

The expansion comes as a follow-up to last year’s successful initiative when more than 50,000 fans flew United to attend some of the most iconic college football games across the country.

“We’re committed to providing a best-in-class travel experience for our customers, whether they’re traveling around the globe or flying to see their favorite college football team play,” said Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances at United.

“We’re pleased to deliver a schedule this season that makes it easy for fans to come together and support their teams on the road.”

In a unique partnership to drum up excitement among football enthusiasts, United is teaming up with 2023 Heisman Award Winner and USC Trojans quarterback, Caleb Williams. Under a name, image, likeness (NIL) agreement, Williams will be featured in United’s advertising and social media campaigns throughout the season.

Commenting on the partnership, Caleb Williams said, “I’m excited to collaborate with United Airlines to help spread the news of these special college football flights so fans from all over the country can experience that energy first-hand.”

This strategic move by United Airlines brings together the world of sports and travel, facilitating a seamless and enjoyable experience for fans to rally behind their favorite college football teams.
